In this release, we’ve focused on Checkout and eToken usability, and digital-wallet reliability on hosted payment form. Below is a summary of the key updates included in this release.
Key Updates and Enhancements
Numeric keyboard for eToken iFrame on mobile
When cardholders enter payment information in the eToken iFrame on a supported mobile device, card number, expiration date, and security-code fields now request a numeric keyboard. This reduces the need to switch between alphabetic and numeric keyboards during checkout.
Bug Fixes
Checkout Component and hosted payments
- Checkout error text contrast. Validation error labels and messages in the Checkout Component now use an approved error color that meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements on a white background.
- Reusable token selection in Checkout. Selecting a saved reusable card in Checkout Components now correctly selects that card as the payment method instead of leaving the selection unapplied in some cases.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay with Decline CVV enforcement. Apple Pay and Google Pay transactions on hosted payment forms no longer fail when account-level Decline Certain CVV Responses is enabled. Digital-wallet payments do not include a traditional cardholder-entered CVV, so CVV-specific decline rules are no longer applied to those tender types.
