PayConex - 12.10.2024
In this release, we've addressed several key issues to enhance the functionality, performance, and security of the PayConex platform. Below is a summary of the key updates included in this release.
Key Updates and Enhancements
Enhanced Security and Control for eToken Iframe
We have introduced an independent toggle within account settings, allowing admin users to enable or disable the eToken feature.
Note
Any accounts previously utilizing the eToken iFrame will have this enabled by default after the release. Accounts that want to use this feature post-release will need to have this option enabled going forward.
The eToken iframe now performs account status checks before loading, ensuring it does not load or encrypt data for accounts where the feature is disabled or the account is closed.

Improved Validation for Name Length on Hosted Payment Forms
Our team has implemented client-side validation to enforce a 32-character limit for first and last name fields on hosted payment forms when ACH verification is enabled. This update helps prevent server-side errors to ensure a smoother transaction experience.
Bug Fixes
Correct CVV and Card Present Codes for Google Pay
Fixed an issue where incorrect codes were being sent for Google Pay e-commerce transactions, ensuring compliance with payment processor requirements.
Improved Validation and Error Handling for Transaction Search
Enhanced validation for transaction search date inputs to ensure only correctly formatted dates can be entered. This update prevents SQL errors and interface locking issues, improving reliability and the user experience.
Improved Handling of Reissued Transactions
Resolved an issue where reissued transactions with modified amounts in the PayConex UI were being declined with the message ERROR 0153
due to missing CIT/MIT indicators. The necessary parameters are now included, ensuring successful processing across all card networks.
