PayConex - 04.20.2026
In this release, we’ve focused on improving payment reliability, refining hosted payment and 3-D Secure experiences, and delivering usability and settlement enhancements across the PayConex platform. Below is a summary of the key updates included in this release.
Key Updates and Enhancements
Hosted payments and 3-D Secure
Hosted payment flows that use 3-D Secure for digital delivery now require a customer email address before authentication begins. We also improved browser compatibility so 3-D Secure requests no longer fail when a browser reports a color depth of 30.
Better transaction details and receipt viewing
Transaction details now show AVS and CVV2 results where available, giving merchants clearer visibility into transaction outcomes. EMV receipt data in PayConex has also been improved for readability and completeness, and EBT receipts no longer show a misleading link to recurring payments.
Account Updater and token improvements
This release includes several improvements to Account Updater and token handling. Merchants can now use merchant-defined subscription identifier (named label) for easier internal tracking, while updates to fallback polling and token-expiry refresh behavior help keep account-updater activity more reliable and current.
Processor and settlement improvements
We’ve delivered a broad set of processor and settlement improvements across Chase Paymentech, RapidConnect, TSYS, FIS, Elavon, Omaha/Fiserv, and RapidConnect-North. These updates improve settlement reliability, reduce processor-specific errors, and strengthen handling for refunds, timeouts, batch processing, and other edge cases that can affect day-to-day payment operations.
Bug Fixes
- Batch settlement webhooks now send correctly in sub-account configurations.
- CSV exports now include sub-account data correctly when Include All Sub-Accounts is selected.
- POI / BluePOS refunds without an explicit amount are now handled correctly in supported flows.
- Fixes improve reliability for Account Updater and reissue scenarios that previously failed in certain edge cases.
