PayConex - 04.08.2025

In this release, we've introduced a series of updates, enhancements, and bug fixes designed to improve the overall functionality, user experience, and security of the PayConex platform. Below is a summary of the key changes included in this release.

Key Updates and Enhancements

eToken iFrame 3DS Challenge Modal Too Small

We’ve increased the default challenge window size for the 3DS iFrame, ensuring a more user-friendly, readable, and accessible verification experience. Now, the 3DS challenge modal will dynamically scale to fit the iFrame, reducing the need for excessive scrolling.

Enhanced Account Selection Dropdown for Custom Reports

Long account names are no longer truncated in the dropdown when creating or running custom reports. This update ensures that users managing multiple sub-accounts can clearly see the full account name. This enhancement also removes potential confusion when selecting accounts with similar naming conventions.

New “Remote IP Address” Configuration for IP Blocking

We’ve added a configurable option for the IP blocking feature that allows you to choose which IP address the system should analyze for potential fraud:

  • Incoming Only (default): Uses the detected client IP from headers.
  • Remote Only: Uses only the IP provided in your request parameter.
  • Remote Preferred: Uses the request parameter if present, otherwise defaults to the detected IP.

This gives merchants more control when operating behind proxies, load balancers, or other networking setups.

Bug Fixes

1. Network_transaction_id Not Returning for QSAPI

Resolved a bug where the network_transaction_id was missing from QSAPI responses, even if configured. Merchants and integrators relying on this ID can now see it in the response payload for improved transaction tracking.

2. Duplicate ‘To’ & ‘Subject’ Headers in Some Emails

Fixed an issue where some outgoing emails contained duplicate “To” and “Subject” headers. This caused unexpected behavior in certain mail clients—particularly Gmail—and occasionally led to missed or delayed email delivery.

3. Odd Apple Pay Enablement Behavior

Addressed inconsistencies where Apple Pay would show as enabled for certain hosted payment forms but not others under the same account. This fix ensures Apple Pay status is correctly applied across all relevant forms.

4. Hosted Payment Form Fails with POST

Corrected an error that prevented some hosted payment forms from loading properly when submitted via POST. Forms submitted with POST now render as expected, restoring full compatibility for merchants using that method.

5. Creating Recurring Transaction from STORE Fails

Resolved a “format error” that occurred when converting one-time STORE transactions into recurring schedules. This fix allows you to seamlessly create recurring billing profiles from existing stored transactions, without re-entering card data.

6. CardSync Account Updater Inconsistency

Fixed an issue that led to fewer-than-expected cards being submitted for updates. The CardSync process should now consistently identify and process all applicable cards, ensuring accurate account-updater results.
