ShieldConex® v1.18 - Upcoming
This release focuses on the addition of the Management API, making template management more efficient and expanding logging and auditing capabilities. Several new reports and feature updates outside the Management API were also addressed.
BFID Extension
When you create tokens, we return to you a Bluefin ID (BFID) to store alongside them. BFID's are variable length and depend on several factors. This release introduces a change that will cause a small increase in the average BFID length. Bluefin's recommendation is that you ensure your code and databases can handle a BFID length of 256 characters.
New Features

- Client Management Get, create, update, delete* or list templates

Orchestration Reports
In ShieldConex Manager, under the Reports menu, there are 2 new reports available. The Orchestration Request Summary Report generates a bar graph that can be configured daily or hourly to provide insight into basic operating metrics. The Orchestration Totals Report will generate a table with a specific numeric breakdown of requests on a per ORCA basis.
Enhancements
GDPR Compliance Enhancements for Template Data
Templates have updated Token Activation and Token Deactivation fields, to help ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
All Fields Optional for Detokenization
Detokenization templates will no longer enforce required fields on detokenization, giving more control to the integrator to determine what is required to detokenize.
Card Information Field Group Now Supports Editable Elements
Elements within the Card Information field groups can be set to required on a per field basis for ease-of-use.
